Sophia set up her online business in MARCH 2006 after completing the New entrepreneur scholarship programme with skills for enterprise. Sophia`s business was recognised by the handbag.com awards in 2005 when she was selected as one of the 4 finalists in “outstanding contributions to the community” category out of hundreds of applicants who had applied from all over the U.K
She has taken on the position with her trademark confidence and conviction, and has brought a powerful point-of-view to the headlines with the likes of BBC RADIO LEICS and their website featuring the collection, local papers and the likes of international papers too “Herald Tribune” (amercian newspaper) and magazines, “69.247.com” and ”emel”. IMAAN COLLECTIONS have also staged Charity fashion show events.
In Just under 2 years Imaan collections have caused topics of discussion and debates of how “Islamic fashion” is interpreted.
By reinterpreting elements from the western designer fashions and the rich cultural and Islamic heritage of her background, Sophia has infused her designs with pure indulgence in fabrics and textures with a twist of modern appeal.

THE TROUSERS COME WITH THE JILBAB, KAFTAN, ABAYA AS PART OF A SET- THEY CANNOT BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY. WE CANNOT MIX AND MATCH THE TROUSER SIZES WITH THE JILBABS, KAFTANS, ABAYAS-
All the trousers come with elasticated back which gives another extra 3"-4" for comfort. There is a side zip fastening.
The above sizing is for guidance purpose only- some styles will differ slightly in size and length due to fabric textures and styles - depending on the cut and style of the design there will be slight variations-
CONFUSED ABOUT LENGTHS?
Take three women with different heights and dress them in the same length jilbab,kaftan or abaya- the result is three very different looks!
So we are offering 2 choice in lengths- 54" and 56"- these 2 lengths- are suited for women from 5ft to 5ft8"- depending on what look you want to desire- as the jilbab,abaya,kaftan comes mostly with the trousers you dont need to worry about the jilbab,abaya,kaftan not being full length-as the trouser is matched and therefore is covering the legs.
There is also a 1.5" hemline on most of the jilbabs, kaftans, abayas - if you needed to extend the length a little then there is the possibility of doing so-
Also if you need to shorten the jilbabs, kaftans, abayas-you could very easily take the length up too.
However this will not apply to jilbab coats which have the lining attached.

Delivery takes up to seven days to receive, but is usually with you within three to five days after purchasing, depending on which postal service you use.

A. No, you can only buy garments from the Imaan Collections online boutique – although never say never!
Q. Are any of these items available in other sizes?
A. The garments are only available in the sizes listed;
Sizes ranging from UK size 10-18.
We hope to introduce other lengths and sizes in the coming future, providing there is a high demand. Therefore your feedback is crucial and very much appreciated.
Q. I don't want to give my credit card details on-line, can I pay another way?

Q. Can I return my garment if I don't like it?
A. We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not, then you may send it back for an exchange or refund excluding the shipping charge. As long as it is in the same condition with the tags and labels still attached to the garment as it was when purchased and unworn within 7 days after delivery.
