SOPHIA LEADS MUSLIM FASHION REVOLUTION A fusion of western fashions and traditional Islamic dress has created a new era of garments for Muslim women Leading the clothing Revolution is Leicester designer Sophia Kara whos brightly coloured jilbabs with unusual patterns are proving a hit worldwide. She is changing the look of the traditional black full length garment but keeping designs in keeping with the Islamic heritage. The dresses are aslo proving popular with non-Muslim women who look for more modest clothes.
